Quantitative Trader, Options Market Making
I'm partnered with a boutique, specialist options market making business based in Chicago. Started 20 years ago as a spinoff from one of the largest and most recognisable brands in the space, this firm has kept it's roster of traders lean; focusing primarily on investing within software engineering and quantitative research. They are now looking to hire senior traders to the firm who have a demonstrated experience successfully trading index, commodities, or treasury options.
This is a team oriented environment; it is distinctly different to many of the "external PM" multi manager type arrangements many other boutique firms in Chicago employ. You will be part of a collaborative and cohesive team, not only trading your own book but playing a critical role in building a business within a business.
